| Abstract |
The advocacy kit is the result of a participatory effort and work, lead by the Lebanese Global Youth Partners (GYP) initiative, for preventing HIV. This kit serves as a powerful tool for young people to advocate, among various opinion and decision makers, for increased commitment of resources towards preventing HIV. The GYP initiative relies primarily on youth knowledge, experience and skills to approach leaders and gain their support and commitment in HIV prevention. Promotional material was developed as part of the campaign and for advocacy purposes (i.e. handbags, vests, bookmarks and brochures). |

| Abstract |
The production of the material is part of a global initiative launched by UNFPA for RTIs prevention among young people, through an innovative approach i.e. “Social Franchising”. The project supported the establishment of a Youth Friendly Services Unit (YHS) within the socio-health center of the Armenian Relief Cross in Lebanon servicing the community of Bourj Hammoud. This unit aims at providing comprehensive response to adolescents and youth health, especially in relation to RTIs and HIV prevention. An opinion survey about youth and community perceptions on RTI was conducted revealing findings for establishing a comprehensive Youth Friendly Service Unit. Promotional materials were developed in order to maximize use of services and information (brochures, posters, logo, information card, desk calendar and back pack). Branding of the material addressed the elements of “Confidentiality, Quality of Services, and Care”. |

| Abstract |
The outreach kit was developed with the aim of raising awareness to youth and at risk persons about HIV/AIDS with emphasis on: (1) modes of transmission, (2) stigma and discrimination, (3) preventive means, (4) biological aspect of the virus, (5) statistics about the HIV/AIDS, (6) peer support, (7) psychological support, and (8) where to receive support and assistance. The kit is formulated based on the peer-to-peer approach. This methodology has proven more efficiency in transmitting the desired message to the intended groups, especially regarding discriminatory perceptions of infected individuals. |
